Modern Uses of Whistling for Safety
Whistles are crucial in survival scenarios, allowing communication over long distances, signaling danger, or calling for help. The Boy Scouts recommend carrying a whistle for outdoor activities, and many college students carry a whistle as a personal safety tool.
